Cambodian former telecom minister dies at age of 71

Cambodia's former minister of posts and telecommunication and incumbent lawmaker So Khun died Wednesday of illness at the age of 71, an official said.

"He died of leukemia Wednesday morning at his residence in Phnom Penh," said Sim Thy, a senior official at the ministry of posts and telecommunication.

So Khun was the minister of posts and telecommunication from 2004 to 2013. He was a politician in the ruling Cambodian People' s Party and was elected as a lawmaker in the 2013 general elections. Endi
