China's Shandong reports human H7N9 case

East China's Shandong Province on Saturday reported a human infection of the H7N9 avian flu.

The patient, surnamed Meng, is a 60-year-old farmer, the provincial health and family planning commission said.

Meng is being treated at a hospital of his hometown, Linyi City in Shandong.

The commission said he got the avian flu in Jiangsu Province. Endi
