Urgent: U.S. stocks bounce back after 5-day losing streak

U.S. stocks rebounded Friday after five consecutive sessions of losses, with major stock indices rising over 1 percent to close almost at session highs, as investors meditated on the quarterly earnings, mixed economic data and surging oil prices.

The Dow added 1.1 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 1.3 percent while the Nasdaq jumped 1.4 percent. Endite
