Malaysian Armed Forces Chief Zulkefli Mohd Zin said the armies of Malaysia and China should further enhance all- round development in defense cooperation.

He made the remarks Thursday at a reunion reception of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) National Defense University (NDU) alumni, which was also attended by Chinese Ambassador Huang Huikang, Guo Ruobing, commandant of the College of Defense Studies of PLA NDU, Malaysian military officers who used to study at the NDU and their families. PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia and Vietnam signed an agreement Friday on security cooperation for 2015 with an aim of enhancing cross- border crime-fighting cooperation.

The deal was inked by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Kheng and Vietnamese Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang.

Under the agreement, the two neighbors will strengthen cooperation and information sharing in fight against trans-border crimes, human and drug trafficking, and other offenses along the border. (Cambodia-Vietnam-Ties)

SINGAPORE -- Readers of The Economist magazine in Singapore would find a blank page in the latest edition of the magazine.

The page was meant to publish a picture of French magazine Charlie Hebdo's latest cover, but the magazine's local printer refused to do so, local media reported on Friday.

The 22th page of the magazine was left with nothing but two words "Page Missing", Lianhe Zaobao reported. (Singapore-Printer- Charlie Hebdo)

ISLAMABAD -- At least six people were injured on Friday afternoon in clashes between police and protesters as the latter marched toward the French Consulate against the printing of blasphemous caricatures by French journal Charlie Hebdo in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi, local media reported.

According to the reports, hundreds of people gathered at Teen Talwar area of the city to register their protest over the blasphemous cartoon disrespecting the Holy Prophet Muhammad by the French magazine. (Pakistan-Clash-Injuries) Enditem
