Xinhua, January 16, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Brunei government is taking several measures to attract foreign investors and experts in the country in an effort to further improve the investment and business climate, the state-run Radio Television Brunei (RTB) reported Friday.

Second Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister's Office Haji Abd Rahman Bin Haji Ibrahim made the remarks during the Annual Forum Session of Darussalam Assets Sendirian Berhad, the RTB said.

Several topics were discussed in the forum and were presented by a number of invited speakers from abroad. One of the objectives of the forum is to raise awareness on the importance of corporate governance as the main key towards encouraging the best practices and investors' confidence in helping companies to expand new sources of finance for the development of the companies involved.
