Australian businesses are borrowing less amid concerns about the global economy, new data revealed on Thursday.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics figures reveal commercial finance commitments by major lenders fell 2.6 percent to 38 billion Australian dollars (32 billion U.S. dollars) in November compared to the previous month.

In the year to November, the value of credit extended to businesses was down 1.1 percent, the first 12-month decline since early 2013. Endi
