Eight people were killed and 21 injured on early Thursday after a tour bus overturned and caught on fire at North-South Expressway in Tapah in Malaysia's state of Perak.

According to local news report, the bus was on its way from Kerian in Perak to Genting Highlands, when the accident occurred at 1:00 a.m. local time.

It was said that the bus hit a tyre on the road, which made the drive lose control of the bus.

Then the bus collided with a car and overturned and caught on fire. The driver also died in the accident.
