China's copyright and Internet watchdogs have shut down 750 websites for rights infringement in a campaign launched in June 2014, the National Copyright Administration revealed Wednesday.

Authorities uncovered 440 violation cases, of which 66 have been sent to courts. Violators were fined 3.52 million yuan (about 575,000 U.S. dollars) in total.
