Belgium's capital city of Brussels is going to stage the second Brussels Chocolate Salon from 6 to 8 of February, deputy Mayor Marion Lemesre announced on Tuesday.

About 150 companies, including over 80 chocolatiers, will take part in the event, which has been held worldwide in 30 cities during the past 20 years, attracting a total of 9,000 participants and 6.5 million visitors.

The show will be marked by festive and gourmet events, such as workshops, conferences, and especially the parade of 17 chocolate dresses made by Belgian and international designers and chocolatiers.

Belgium is currently the fifth largest consumer of chocolate in the world, with an average of 8.3 pounds per person per year. Enditem
