LME base metals drop mostly on Monday

The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Monday.

Base metals prices were under pressure as crude prices continued to fall.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 92.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.52 percent, to 6,005 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 8.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.47 percent, to 1,817.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price stood at 1,843 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 23 U.S. dollars, or 1.06 percent, to 2,139 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 325 U.S. dollars, or 2.10 percent, to 15,137.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price stood at 19,500 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
