Xinhua, January 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

China's first Olympic speed skating champion Zhang Hong won two gold medals in the Asian Single Distances Speed Skating Competition 2015 on Sunday.

Zhang, who won the 1,000m on Saturday, finished first in 76.81 seconds in Sunday's 500m race that featured five skaters including world sprint champion Yu Jing of China.

"I am not especially good at 500m and this is my best result," Zhang said. "I am so happy to win two titles here. It is a good start for 2015."

China also made a clean sweep of medals in the men's and women's 1,500m. Endi
