Cambodian PM condemns terrorist attack in Paris

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Paris and extended his deepest sympathy to the bereaved families.

"Cambodia strongly condemned this barbaric terrorism act," he said in a message sent to his French counterpart Manuel Valls on Thursday. "The brutal act of this extremist group is also an attack against democracy and freedom of journalists."

The premier also expressed his deepest sympathy for the loss of innocent lives and extended profound condolences to the injured and the families of the dead in the attack.

Twelve people were killed and 11 others wounded when masked gunmen stormed the office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris on Wednesday.
