A police source confirmed on Thursday the two suspects of Charlie Hebdo shooting were located in Villers-Cotterets in northern France.

The suspects were hidden in a house in Crepy-en-Valois, which is about 60 km northeast of Paris, France 3 Picardie TV channel cited a source from l'Oise prefecture. (France-Charlie Hebdo-Suspects)

BAGHDAD -- At least seven people were killed and 30 others wounded in two suicide bomb attack in and near the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Thursday, a police source said.

In one of the attacks, a suicide bomber drove his explosive-laden car into a police checkpoint in the town of Yousifiyah, some 25 km south of the capital, leaving five people dead and some 20 others wounded, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-Bombing)

TIKRIT, Iraq -- Islamic State (IS) militants launched a major attack on Samarra, a city of Iraq's northern central province of Salahudin, a provincial security source said.

The attack occurred at dawn when five suicide bombers blew up their explosive-laden trucks near the security checkpoints on a highway and at the western entrance of Samarra, some 120km north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-IS)

ISLAMABAD -- At least seven militants were killed in a search operation conducted by police in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Thursday, officials said.

Senior Superintendent Police Rao Anwar said that some 500 policemen participated in the search operation on an intelligence tip-off of the presence of suspected militants in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi, the capital city of Sindh province. (Pakistan-Militants) Endi
