Vietnamese leaders on Thursday sent condolences to French leaders following a deadly armed attack at the office of a satirical magazine in Paris.
Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh have sent condolences, said Pham Thu Hang, vice spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
"Vietnam condemns all acts of terrorism and considers the terror attack against Charlie Hebdo magazine on Wednesday a barbaric and unacceptable action," Hang said at a regular press briefing here.
"We would like to offer our condolences to the government and people of France, especially the families of victims, and we are confident that the gunmen will soon face justice," Hang said.
At least 12 people were killed on Wednesday in a shooting at the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, and four others were seriously wounded in the "terror attack," the office of Paris Prosecutor of the Republic confirmed. Endi
