A 15-year-old teenager, called D, came to Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, from his hometown to make a living. He rented a shabby room with the money earned from his previous job, fast-food delivery, in a bid to pursue his dream of becoming a magician. D started performing tricks on the streets both to practice and to support himself. Struggling to earn enough, he could barely afford rent. Faced with the coldness of reality and winter, D understood the weight of his dream. |
