Editor's note:A number of cultural relics from the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) were unearthed in four tombs in Yuanzhuang Village, Ganquan County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, as early as in 2008. Twenty-nine frescos were among the unearthed relics. They had not been made public until they were recently revealed by the local Yan'an Cultural Relics Research Institute. The frescos contain many stories and allusions associated with traditional virtues of the Chinese people, like doing good deeds and being filial to one's parents. Here are six of the 29 ancient frescos.
