As of 10 a.m. on Oct. 26, 2014, the flow front remains active and continues to advance towards the northeast. Dozens of residents in Pahoa--a rural area of Hawaii's Big Island--are preparing for evacuations as flowing lava from Kilauea, an erupting volcano, continued to advance. Kilauea volcano has been erupting continuously since 1983. [Photo/USGS]
