1st Subway in Chengdu Put into Operation

Photo taken on Sept. 27, 2010 shows passengers entering one of the entrances of the newly opened subway line in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. After four years' construction, the subway Line 1 in Chengdu witnessed its pilot run on Monday. This is the first subway line operated in west China.
