Latest Version of Confucius Family Tree Makes Its Debut in Qufu

Photo taken on September 24, 2009 shows the latest version of Confucius family tree that made its debut in Qufu, the birth place of Confucius, in east China's Shandong Province. The 80-volume publication, the longest family tree according to the Guinness Book of World Records, containing over 2 million manes of the offspring of the ancient Chinese educator and philosopher's family, is the result of 10 years' efforts of a compiling committee that for the first time puts all the female, ethnic and oversease Confucius family members into the tree.
