Gardeners are busy with setting up a giant parterre in the shape of the National Aquatics Center popularly known as Water Cube, at the intersection of business downtown of Dongdan, in Beijing, September 5, 2009. Beijing Municipality is setting up a total of 22 large-scale solid parterres with over 3.3 million flowers along the Chang'an Avenue, the east-west axis of Beijing, in a move to beef up the happy festival atmosphere for the upcoming National Day Celebration on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
