Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in Coal Mine

Photo taken on July 23, 2009 shows a cave at the Xinyongfeng Coal Mine where a flooding accident took place in Jixi City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. Twenty-three miners were trapped underground after a flooding accident at the coal mine in Jixi city. Rescue work is under way, and preliminary investigation showed heavy rain was to blame for the accident.
