Like Zhao Xiaoqing, many women carrying kids gathered at Mum's Home to make paper roses for the Mother's Day as gifts to the people who helped them during hard times. According to government statistics, there are over 6,000 families that lost their children in the May 12 earthquake and have the intention to raise another one, but the aftershocks, the pain of losing relatives and their ages are major obstacles.
