Free Vocational Education for Tibetans in Sichuan Launched

A Tibetan student from Danba addresses a gathering in Kangding County, capital of the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on March 2, 2009. A program providing free vocational education for kids of Tibetan farmers or herdsmen was launched and 300 of them from 18 counties of the prefecture will start studying at vocational schools in more developed areas of Sichuan Province.
