People demonstrate against the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip on January 3, 2009, in Paris. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began its ground incursion into the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip since January 3, and the airstrikes since December 27, 2008 have left at least 450 Palestinian people dead and some 2,300 others wounded in the Gaza Strip by far.
