First annual national conference

In November 2011, the EGP successfully held its first annual national conference. With over 120 environmental experts and officials participated in the conference, the event was widely covered by media and has attracted attentions from environmental professionals. The conference was themed on development of environmental governance policies in China and the regulatory frame work of environmental governance policies in EU. Objectives, strategies and overall work plan for the next working year and till December 2015 were also discussed between the Programme Task Force in the Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy (PRCEE), MEP and the EU contracted International Technical Assistance Team during the conference.
