EGP launched in Beijing

In December 2010, the EU-China Environmental Governance Programme (EGP) is launched in Beijing. The Programme comprises a national-level component and a local component with 15 local-level Partnership Projects (PP) in selected cities to practice ideas of environmental governance and to adapt European experiences to China’s circumstances. Their outcomes and lessons learned will be extracted as policy recommendations to the central level to support environmental policy development in China.
