Israel Finds 17 More A/H1N1 Flu Cases

Seventeen additional A/H1N1 flu cases have been diagnosed in Israel over the weekend, local news service Ynet reported on Saturday on its website.
The latest cases have brought to 94 the total number of confirmed cases of the global pandemic in the Jewish state.
Israeli Health Ministry has called on passengers of El Al flight 0104 from Toronto and Air France flight 2220 to go to the hospital if they developed flu-like symptoms, said the report.
On Thursday, nine additional A/H1N1 flu cases were diagnosed in Israel, bringing to 77 the total number of confirmed cases in the country.
Also on Thursday, the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the A/H1N1 alert to phase six, its highest level, formally declaring that it had developed into a global pandemic.
As of Friday, there were 29,669 confirmed cases in 74 countries and regions, including 145 deaths, said the WHO.
