Thailand confirmed two more A/H1N1flu patients on Friday, according to local media report.
However, the Thai Public Health Ministry has not yet to officially announce the two more A/H1N1 flu patients as the country's new confirmed cases until Saturday morning.
Hence, officially by June 12 Thailand's total number of the confirmed A/H1N1 flu patients has remained at 46.
Doctor Kamnuan Ungchoosak, an expert at the Health Ministry's Department of Disease Control, disclosed on Friday that one more student of Bangkok's St Gabriel's College is found of having been infected with the A/H1N1 flu.
The student, who is now recovering, stays at home, the website by Thai-language newspaper Matichon quoted Doctor Kamnuan as saying.
On Thursday, St Gabriel's College's administrators announced the suspension of all classes during June 12 to 18 after its five students are infected with the A/H1N1 influenza virus.
In a related development, a female Thai student, 20, of Mahidol University in Bangkok, who returned from the United States, is found of having been contacted with the A/H1N1 influenza virus, Prof. Doctor Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, President of Mahidol University said.
The University has learnt about this matter on June 11 and Mahidol University has suspended all classes of the Public Health Faculty, to which the A/H1N1-flu-virus-infected student has belonged, Doctor Piyasakol said.
If the two new cases found on Friday added to the country's total number of 46 A/H1N1 flu patients as officially announced by the Ministry, the country's total number of the A/H1N1 flu patients would rise to 48.
