With four more cases reported in Fukuoka Prefecture on Sunday, Japan's tally of A/H1N1 flu infections have amounted to 424, local media reported on Sunday.

The four patients - three middle school boys and one primary school boy - tested positive for the new flu after having run fevers, according to officials from the Fukuoka municipal government.

No further report about the latest cases is available.

The number of confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases has thus totaled six in the southwestern prefecture.
