Brazil Confirms 2 More A/H1N1 Flu Cases, 1st Contagion

Brazilian health authorities confirmed two more cases of A/H1N1 flu on Friday, including the first contagion in the country.
With the confirmation, Brazil now has recorded six A/H1N1 flu cases, with one of them contracted the disease in the country, Health Minister Jose Gomes Temporao said at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro.
Of nine tests, seven were discarded and two were confirmed, including a man who had contact with a patient who had been confirmed in Rio Thursday night as infected by the flu, he said.
Temporao said the Brazilian government would take all necessary measures to contain the disease.
"Nothing changes. All countries are doing the same way, we follow international protocols." he said.
In addition to the confirmed cases, Brazil has also reported 30suspected cases of A/H1N1 flu, according to figures released by the Health Ministry on Friday.
