4 Cases of A/H1N1 Flu Confirmed in Brazil

Four cases of A/H1N1 flu have been confirmed till now in Brazil, Health Minister, Jose Gomes Temporao, said on Thursday.
These four victims are all Brazilian. Two of them live in Sao Paulo, one in Rio de Janeiro and the other in Minas Gerais state, Temporao told a press conference.
One of the patients living in Sao Paulo had been in Mexico from April 17 to 22 and shown symptoms of H1N1 flu on April 24. Another case in Sao Paulo, came back from Florida in the United States on April 28. They are hospitalized, but kept in relative isolation.
Another patient in Minas Gerais states began to show symptoms already in Mexico and remained isolated in a local clinic.
The last patient, the Rio returned to the country on May 3 from Mexico. He remains hospitalized from May 5.
"All of the victims are in a clinical stable situation and the government has the situation under control," he added.
According to the new statement from the ministry, Brazil has reported 24 suspect cases of H1N1 flu.
"All cases were imported, and there is no evidence that other people were contaminated in the country," said Temporao.
