Minister: Thai Baby Returning from New NZ Free of Influenza A/H1N1

Laboratory tests showed that an 11-month old Thai baby, who returned from New Zealand on May 1, is free of Influenza A/H1N1, Witthaya Kaewparadai, Thai Minister of Public Health said on Monday.

The baby has only normal human flu according to the laboratory tests by the Department of Medical Sciences, said Witthaya.

The baby is in Thailand's northeastern province of Buriram after returning from New Zealand.
