The fourth A/H1N1 case was detected on Sunday in Israel since the global outbreak emerged, Israeli Health Ministry said.
The patient is a 20-year-old woman who traveled back recently from Mexico, according to the statement released from Israeli Health Ministry.
She was diagnosed with influenza A/H1N1 on Sunday after having been admitted to Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv on Saturday with H1N1 flu symptoms.
Also on Sunday, a three-year old girl from Jerusalem was isolated for being suspected as the victim of the virus, and the nursery school she attends was temporarily shut down, Israeli Health Ministry reported.
The child, returned from Mexico on April 27, has been admitted to Jerusalem's Shaare Tzedek Medical Center due to her symptoms, which led doctors to believe she may have the H1N1 virus.
The child is the fifth Israeli to have been suspected of carrying the virus in the past few days.
The latest H1N1 flu case diagnosed in Israel was that of a 34-year-old man, who was quarantined by doctors at Tel Aviv's Sourasky Medical Center Saturday after recently having returned from Mexico.
The first two Israelis that have tested positive for the virus were released Friday from hospital upon treatment.
