The number of Thai patients suspected of contracting A/H1N1 flu virus has dropped to two from four, Public Health Ministry official said on Saturday.
In the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Sanan Kajornprasart and other senior health officials, Dr. Praj Boonyawongvirot, Permanent Secretary for Public Health Ministry, said the suspected infection cases in Thailand had dwindled to two people, a man and a woman.
They are now receiving treatment at a government hospital.
Four people were earlier under quarantine, the official said.
Fourteen Thai students and volunteers living in Mexico under a government exchange program are scheduled to return to Bangkok on Sunday evening, Deputy Prime Minister Sanan said.
Doctors will conduct medical check-up for them as well as all passengers on that plane for safety purpose.
The 14 will be quarantined in their homes for one week, but must report to the Public Health Ministry on a daily basis.
