Israeli Soldiers Kill Palestinian Teen Near Ramallah

A 17-year-old Palestinian teen was shot dead on Wednesday night by Israeli soldiers' gunfire near the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian security sources and Israeli Radio reported.
The medics said that the teen named Fayez Atta was killed and another Palestinian was injured after they were shot by Israeli soldiers north of Ramallah. After the teen was killed, his body was sent to Ramallah hospital.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Radio quoted an Israeli army spokeswoman as saying that an Israeli army force opened fire at a group of Palestinian teens who threw firebombs and stones at the force near the settlement of Halmish, north of Ramallah.
The spokeswoman said a group of Palestinians threw firebombs at the Israeli army vehicles in the area, setting one of the vehicles on fire. She added that the soldiers went out from their jeep and used warning shots before opening fire.
The radio also said that an Israeli soldier was slightly hurt after Palestinian youths hurled a Molotov cocktail bottle at an Israeli army vehicle near the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
