Heavy Rain Damages Highway in Jiangxi

Part of the ruined Jiangxi section of the Shanghai-Kunming Highway is seen on Monday, June 21, 2010. The highway was ruined on Sunday by floods caused by the latest round of torrential rains in southern China. Having sent over 1,000 workers and 200 vehicles to repair the road, local authorities hoped to resume traffic by Monday evening.
