S Korea Wins Women's Team Archery Gold Medal at Asiad

South Korea beat China 30-27 in the second shoot-off after both teams tied in the final and first shoot-off to win the women's team archery gold medal at the 16th Asian Games here on Sunday.
The archers tied first at 220 after their 24 arrows in six ends, and both sides levelled again in the first shoot-off at 28-all.
The South Korean trio of Joo Hyun Jung, Ki Bo Bae and Yun Ok Hee, all hit perfect 10s in the second shoot-off where China's Cheng Ming and Zhu Shanshan shot 10s while Zhang Yunlu managed only a 7.
This was South Korea's fifth straight Asian Games gold in the women's team competition. Since archery became an Asian Games medal sport in 1978, South Korea has won seven of the nine women's team gold medals.
Earlier, India beat Chinese Taipei 218-217 to win the bronze medal.
The men's team competition is scheduled for Monday. South Korea has won gold in seven of the past eight Asian Games.
