South Korean Hwang Young-Shik won the individual dressage gold medal in the Asian Games equestrian competition here on Wednesday.

Hwang, who is making his Asian Games debut, scored 74.900 percent to top a field of 13 riders.

The 20-year-od Hwang had led South Korea to the team dressage gold medal on Sunday.
