Li Na led China to their first Asian Games women's tennis team gold medal on Tuesday with a 2-0 victory over defending champions Chinese Taipei.

Peng Shuai edged out Chang Kai-chen 6-3, 7-5 before Li, ranked 11th in the world, crushed Chan Yung-jan 6-1, 6-1 to nail the title.
