China's Lin Fan captured the gold medal in the women's Nanquan and Nandao combined competition of Wushu event at the Guangzhou Asian Games on Saturday.

Lin, 23, who was crowned at the Wushu Tournament during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, presented flawless performances to win the gold with 19.80 points.

Indonesian Irmanto Ivana Ardelia took the silver with 18.92 and Malaysia's Tai Cheau Xuen secured the bronze with 18.86 points.

Earlier in the morning, China's Yuan Xiaochao cinched the first gold of the Games in men's Changquan form.
