'Salute Boy' Lang Zheng

 Lang Zheng (L), known as the "Salute Boy", leaves Tangdu Hospital in the arms of his father Lang Hongdong after two months of treatment, in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on July 27, 2008. Lang, from the Qushan Township Kindergarten of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County in southwest China's Sichuan Province, was rescued from the debris after the May 12 Wenchuan earthquake. After being put on a stretcher, the injured and fragile boy slowly raised his right hand and saluted his rescuers in gratitude. The moment was captured by a photographer and moved the whole nation. His fractured left arm and partly amputated left fingers have been recovering well during the two months at Tangdu Hospital. [Xinhua]
