FDI Up 11.28% in 1st 4 Months

The foreign direct investment (FDI) in China reached US$30.789 billion in the first four months of this year, an increase of 11.28 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday.

April alone saw a 24.69 percent growth in FDI to US$7.346 billion, according to a statement published by the ministry.

The FDI growth rate in the first three months was 7.7 percent year on year, and that for March alone stood at 12.08 percent.
