Chinese Shares Edge up 0.76% on Wednesday

Chinese equities edged up Wednesday after hitting a two-month low Tuesday, led by shares in telecommunications.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.76 percent, or 23.26 points, to end at 3,073.78 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 1.31 percent, or 165.78 points, to close at 12,813.29 points.
Combined turnover fell to 103.17 billion yuan (US$15.11 billion), from 112.54 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
