Chinese Shares Up 0.56% on Booming Investor Confidence

Chinese equities rose for seventh straight trading days by edging up 0.56 percent on Tuesday on booming investor confidence and bullish outside markets, said analysts.
The Shanghai index climbed 12.94 points to 2,338.42. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.78 percent, or 69.09 points, to 8,954.84.
Gains outnumbered losses by 506 to 349 in Shanghai and 443 to 280 in Shenzhen.
Combined turnover expanded to 228.29 billion yuan (US$33.43 billion) from 227.4 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
