Japan to Implement Stimulus Worth over 2% of GDP

The Japanese government plans to implement new economic stimulus worth more than 2 percent of Japan's gross domestic product (GDP), said Finance Minister Kaoru Yosano on Monday.
The planned new stimulus, which will involve fiscal spending of more than 10 trillion yen (US$99.21 billion), is expected to be finalized on Friday, Yosano told reporters at the prime minister's office.
