Central Bank: Indonesian Q4 Growth Seen Slowing

Indonesian central bank governor Boediono said on Thursday that the bank predicted Indonesia economy expanded by 5.7 to 5.9 percents in fourth quarter last year.
The Southeast Asia largest economy grew at 6.3 percent at the first quarter, 6.4 percent at the second quarter and 6.1 percent at the third quarter last year.
Indonesian acting Coordinating Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has forecast 6.2 percent growth for all of 2008.
Then country's economy grew 6.3 percent in 2007 prompted by the booming commodity exports.
Indonesia's economy has been growing at an average rate of around 6 percent since the end of 2006.
Minister Mulyani predicted this year's growth is at 5.5 percent, thank to the government stimulus package, improving outlook of inflation and low interest rates as well as high spending on the upcoming general election in April and July.
