China Issues Alter on Tropical Storm Nangka

The State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters issued an alert on Friday on the upcoming tropical storm Nangka, which is expected to land in the southeast China's Guangdong Province Friday night or Saturday morning.
The eye of Nangka, the fourth tropical storm of the year, was located at 410 kilometers southeast to Shenzhen as of 11 a.m. Friday, packing winds of up to 74.5 km per hour, according to the headquarters.
It predicted Nangka would continue moving northwestward at a speed of 20 km per hour.
The office urged departments concerned to enhance monitoring and timely relocate residents living along the Nangka's moving route.
