A new report on the health of Chinese white collar workers shows that 76 percent of them are in poor health and are biologically 10 years older than their actual age, the Oriental Morning Post reported Wednesday.
The rocketing price of apartments is the top pressure for white collar workers, with parents left behind in their hometown being the second source of stress. Single adults also are unhappy about not being able to find spouses.
The survey, comprised of 513,000 questionnaires, was organized by relevant medical institutions and websites covering 589 cities in China's 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, the report said.
