Regular Guangzhou-Shenzhen maritime cultural tourism route officially launched in south China

Visitors take a look at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge aboard the cruise ship Da Wan Qu Yi Dun, Aug. 22, 2026. Named after the Greater Bay Area, known in Chinese as Da Wan Qu, the cruise ship Da Wan Qu Yi Dun departed from the Nansha International Cruise Home Port in Guangzhou on Saturday, marking the official launch of the regular Guangzhou-Shenzhen maritime cultural tourism route.

Sailing past the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link and 16 landmarks of the Greater Bay Area, the ship also provided visitors with diverse onboard experiences including performances themed on intangible cultural heritage and magic shows. (Photo by Xu Jianmei/Xinhua)
