Chongqing launches pilot pet consignment service on high-speed railways

Chongqing railway authorities have launched a pilot pet consignment service on high-speed railways on designated routes during the ongoing Spring Festival travel rush.
Passengers can book the service in advance through 12306, the China Railway booking platform, for their qualified domesticated pets. These pet passengers travel in dedicated pet transport cases equipped with air circulation as well as temperature and humidity monitoring systems. (Xinhua/Tang Yi)
